Blog Journal #12

12. Your life is a movie. Describe the first 15
minutes.

A baby is being born into this world. Expecting parents of a newborn baby girl are anxious and very concerned. The mother has placenta previa which is when the placenta comes
before the baby and blocks the cervix. Doctors finally proceed the cesarean. A huge amount of blood is produced from the c-section. The baby is taken out of the womb very quickly. The parents named her Taylor. Nurses move her to the intensive care unit (ICU) and put her in an incubator. They check her for any problems or birth defects. Nurses monitor the baby's
vital signs. They agreed to a blood transfusion but noticed that she was recovering quickly and did not need it. The hospital was very impressed with the recovery. A little girl almost bleeding to death to being able to pick up her head after an hour of being delivered.
